Clinical psychologist | Cognitive behavioural and family psychotherapist
Camelia Roman (Dana) is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists, specialising in family psychotherapy and trained in cognitive behavioural psychotherapy. Her approach is integrative and scientifically grounded, combining cognitive behavioural interventions with a systemic perspective in a balanced way, taking into account each person’s uniqueness and their relational and life context.
An interest in how the mind and emotions shape our inner reality gradually became a true calling towards psychology and towards accompanying those who, at some point, face emotional, relational or existential challenges. In her work, Camelia offers a safe, empathetic and structured setting in which clients can understand more clearly the difficulties they face, how these arose, what maintains them and what their own path of growth and change is.
At NeuroVia Clinic, the therapeutic encounter is based on collaboration, respect and adapting to each person’s pace. Camelia guides the therapeutic process with gentleness and clarity, facilitating the exploration of emotions, thoughts and behaviours so that change becomes possible, sustainable and anchored in the client’s inner resources.
Personal vision
“I believe authentic change begins when we allow ourselves to be curious about ourselves and to look within with honesty and patience. For me, the therapeutic relationship is a safe space in which thinking can become clearer, emotions can be held with care and actions can take on meaning. The bravest act is to ask for support and to pause, even for a moment, to truly listen to yourself.”
